Vivi has a pesky problem who goes by the name of Luke, but he thinks her bitter and combative mouth is just begging to be kissed. Find out if their hostility can be replaced by a single, scorching hot kiss in Evelyn Sola’s CRASH, the third book in The Clark Family series. Fans of hot, enemies to lovers reads will sink their teeth into this sexy, diverse romance.

Vivi For the first time in my life, I’m with the family I choose. Living with my cousin, who happens to be a newlywed, is the best thing ever. There is one pesky downside, and his name is Lucas Clark. He’s a spoiled rich boy who was put on this Earth to torture me. He thinks he can intimidate me, keep me in my place, but I have news for him. No way is he man enough. And it’s annoying. Like, why do his eyes follow me everywhere? Why do I lose all self-control, seeking him out whenever we share the same space? I should be running in the opposite direction, right? His words are harsh, hostile. Until one night, the hostility is replaced by a kiss that almost set us on fire.

Luke She’s a tiny ball of energy. Every bitter and combative word out of her mouth is aimed at me. My family thinks I walk on water, so I could use any excuse to stay away from her. She’s nothing more than a man-hating shrew wrapped up in a beautiful package. Those dark eyes of hers? I see them everywhere. Her red lips? They beg to be kissed. And one night, I do. I finally get a taste, but it’s not enough. I want more.

She says she hates me. I’m used to getting what I want, and what I want is to prove to Vivi that hate is the last thing on her mind when it comes to me.

Hook - Cover Reveal

9:18 AM 0 Comments

Journey back to Neverland, NC with NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author Gina L. Maxwell as she turns your favorite villain into the hero you never knew you needed.

Hook by Gina L Maxwell

They call me Hook.

I’m Captain of the Pirates; a villain by design and a loner by nature.

I don’t need anyone. More than that, I don’t want anyone. Especially Officer John Darling who insists on seeing the good in everything, including me. If there was ever any good inside of me, it was snuffed out long ago.

I’ve avoided him for years, but now I need his help to save my brother’s life and take down Fred Croc, the monster from my childhood and my current employer.

Now Darling is undercover in my crew, living in my loft and forever working out shirtless. Taking Croc’s operation down from the inside is dangerous as hell, but Darling’s probing gaze and the natural way he defers to my dominant side might just be the end of me.

But I’ve lived in the dark for too long, and no amount of light can save me. Not even one as bright as Johnathan Darling.

He calls me Darling.

I’m a Task Force Officer with the FBI; a protector of the innocent and a man in love with a villain.

Before I was even old enough to understand it, I had a crush on the broody teen called Captain Hook, following him around like a puppy and hoping he’d show me the slightest bit of attention.

He never did, though, not for years. Not until I became his only viable option for getting his crew member back and throwing Croc behind bars. Now he can’t ignore me, and he can’t hide the desire burning in his eyes when I sink to my knees, eager to serve my Captain however he needs.

But secrets are hard to keep in close quarters, and when I discover the darkness lurking in his past, eradicating the evil in Neverland is no longer my only mission. Come hell or high water, I’ll make Hook see that he’s never been the villain of this story…he’s the hero.

Don't Miss Neverland Novel #1

Amazon

From NYT and USA Today bestselling author, Gina L. Maxwell, comes a brand-new series with a fresh twist on an old classic.

Once upon a time, in Neverland, North Carolina--I fell in love.

I was twelve when Peter first climbed up to my balcony.
Thirteen when I sneaked out to see him at the School for Lost Boys.
Seventeen when his touch made me fly,
And eighteen when his words made me cry.

We were magnetic, drawn to each other from that very first night, and what I thought would be forever. But when it came time for me to leave, he wouldn't come with, soI left town with a map for my future and a shattered heart.

Ten years later, I've returned to Neverland, hoping to find a man in place of the boy.

Peter was partially right, growing up is no fun. After quitting my fancy career that sucked the magic out of life, I'm now organizing the fundraiser of the year. In a move that could make or break the event and my new company, I've hired Peter, master mechanic and owner of LB Automotive, to help me pull this off--trusting him to rebuild a classic car for the auction that could help hundreds of foster kids in need.

I thought I was prepared, but the boy who refused to leave is now a man hell-bent on getting me to stay, and as sparks fly between us, that undeniable fire flares back to life, deeper and hotter than ever.

But that ripped body doesn't mean Peter's matured enough to make us or this event work, and not everyone in Neverland is happy about my return.

Not every wound heals.
Not every heart can be fixed.
Not every boy grows up.

And after all this time, the love we found might be lost to us again...this time, forever.

Pan is an adult contemporary romance retelling of Peter Pan, complete with Wendy, Hook, Tink, and all the Lost Boys. There are no fantasy elements in this world, other than the "magic" that happens between the sheets. ;)

As for the hunky hero? It’s not like he’s just going to come crashing into my apartment.

Until the night a bearded stranger does exactly that…

Gavin
Do the job. Get the bad guy. Go home.
Most importantly, don’t get involved.
Those are the rules. The agency’s and mine. And they work. Even better, they give me the perfect excuse to keep my distance.
The perfect escape from getting burned again. Except…

Why can’t I stop watching her?
I shouldn’t care more about what she’s doing than my target.
I shouldn’t let her distract me from the job.
And I sure as hell shouldn’t fantasize about a woman I’ll never meet.

That is, until the night I surprise us both by kicking down her apartment door. Rules or no rules, it's true that...
After all, 425 Madison Avenue is the perfect place to fall in love.

Katy and her family reside in Washington, D.C., a city she where never intended to live and loves so much she’d be happy to talk about it for hours. Just ask.

The Red Head

Growing up in foster care, I never had a family I could call my own. I’d finally found my place in this world. The only problem, it was in the arms of not one, but two men. Two distinctly different men I’d never be able to choose between.

The Doctor

Finally, I’d found the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We were deeply in love. There was only one catch. She loved another, too. A surprising compromise was thrown my way.  We’d share her, in a committed relationship. But, sharing wasn’t my style. Until that was, I started to long for him just as much as I did her.

The Fireman

My redhead seductress had laid claim to my heart, along with the good doctor. He denied loving me but I would catch him watching me, with the same hunger in his eyes as he had for the woman we loved. They are both mine, he just didn’t know it yet.

Growing up with Andrew, he’d always known what he wanted. He’d come out and confirmed his sexuality after telling us he was dating the neighbor boy next door. It wasn’t a big deal. With my sister, it was the same way. I’d suspected early on. She was proud of her sexuality, and my parents wrapped their arms around her in support. In my world, you loved one or the other, not both. And I loved women, and it would be that way until the day I took my last breath.

But why did Levi’s challenges and innuendos affect me so much?

As we laid with Red in the middle of us, Levi’s fingers were only mere centimeters from my shoulders when he had said, “You have a bigger bed than me, so that’ll be a little more comfortable.” Yeah, never thought that much about the California King my brother left me, until now. He made yet another wonderful point.

I had a reply on the tip of my tongue when Red beckoned us. “Um, guys, we can talk HGTV and home décor another time. You both caused me so many fucking orgasms, this girl needs her sleep. Unless you want to fuck me again.”

With Red on her stomach, I was able to look over her naked body and straight at the bare chest of Levi. It was strange. With Red’s soft curves, it was the opposite of what drew me in with the fireman. His chiseled chest scattered with light hair caused my heart to pitter patter for him. I don’t pitter patter for anyone. What the hell.

“Like what you see, Doc?”

Fuck, I did like what I saw, but how the hell could I answer it. I rolled over, covering up the blankets. “Night, LT.”

I thought it was over until a calloused hand hit my hip bone. “Night to you, too, Doc.” Well, shit, even in his touch, I couldn’t deny what was beginning between us.

Pulling my phone out, I saw Ava had sent several texts.
OMG. I found the perfect guy for you. He’s not blonde and he’s really, really tall.
 A second text followed that.
  Jojo, this man.
I started laughing until I continued on to her third text.
  I just approached him.
Oh no. I was going to kill her. I knew this once I read her fourth and fifth text.
He’s single. I’ve confirmed it. He seems like he could be interested in a good time. And he’s nice.
I finally responded.
  What is wrong with you?
She replied almost instantly.
Nothing. Get over here. I’m still over by the bar. I’ll just make a quick introduction and skedaddle to our reserved area.

I let out a sigh. As I walked over, I came up with a game plan. I figured if the guy was hot and seemed nice enough, I could have a drink with him. If not, I’d blame my inability to chat on needing to not ditch my co-workers. When the area of the bar where Ava and I had been sitting earlier came into view, I thought my eyes had to be deceiving me. Ava’s back was to me as she was rambling on about something, likely me, to the man next to her. I had to give her credit. The guy was gorgeous. He wasn’t blonde and he was tall. There was one small problem, though. The man was Lorenzo.

I took in a deep breath, let it out, and moved over to her.
“…and it’s been a while for her. I just want her to have a good time tonight,” Ava said until she stopped speaking because Lorenzo was no longer paying attention to her. He caught sight of me, ran his eyes over the length of my body until they settled on my face, and never returned his attention to my outspoken friend. Ava noticed he was distracted and turned around to find me standing there. “Here she is,” she declared. “Jojo, this is…I’m sorry, what’s your name?”
 “Lorenzo.”
“Right, sorry,” she muttered. “Jojo, this is Lorenzo. And Lorenzo, this is my friend, Jolie. Everyone calls her Jojo.”
I looked to Lorenzo and asked, “Would you excuse us one second?”
He gave me a nod. I grabbed Ava’s hand and dragged her a few feet away as she called out to him, “Save her seat!”

When we’d moved out of earshot of Lorenzo, I leaned in and seethed, “What did you say to him?” Oblivious to what she’d just done, she was grinning from ear to ear.
“First, I confirmed that he wasn’t here with anyone and that he wasn’t meeting anyone. Once I established that he was single and available, I told him, in not so many words, that I had a friend who needed some companionship before we had to buy stock in batteries.”
I closed my eyes and stood up straight to pinch the bridge of my nose. “Please tell me you did not do that.”
“Jo, have you seen him?” she cried. “That guy is gorgeous. I know you’d prefer to have a relationship, but if that guy can give your hands a break for the night, why not?!”
“I know him!” I nearly exploded. She jerked her head back in surprise.
“You know that guy and you haven’t hooked up with him?” Just then, a few more of our co-workers had arrived and walked up to us. I took in another deep breath and advised,
“I’m going to go deal with the colossal mess you’ve just put me in. I’ll meet up with you in a few minutes.”
Ava took off with the girls from work and I turned back to Lorenzo. I was in big trouble.

About A.K. Evans:

A.K. Evans is a married mother of two boys residing in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. After graduating from Lafayette College in 2004 with two degrees (one in English and one in Economics & Business), she pursued a career in the insurance and financial services industry. While the business afforded her freedoms she wouldn’t necessarily have had in a typical 9-5 job, after eleven years she was no longer receiving personal fulfillment from her chosen career path. Following many discussions, lots of thought, and tons of encouragement, Andrea decided to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. Between her day job, writing, and homeschooling her two boys, Evans is left with very little free time. When she finds scraps of spare time, Evans enjoys reading, doing yoga, watching NY Rangers hockey, dancing, and vacationing with her family. What's a superheroine to do when her super soldier ex turns up alive after more than fifteen years?

Butterfly Ops by Jen Doyle
Series: Butterfly Ops
Genre: Contemporary Fantasy with Romantic Elements
Release Date: Sept 24, 2018
Length: 120,000 words

What's a superheroine to do when her super soldier ex turns up alive after more than fifteen years?

Lyndsey doesn't have much time to walk down memory lane before she and Ian find themselves thrown together to investigate the mysterious deaths of ten young men in the Canadian wilderness. How do such seemingly normal, healthy men's hearts just...stop?

With the hint of an evil spirit in the wind--and a whole lot of butterflies--there's no telling what Lyndsey and Ian are dealing with, including their own extensive baggage. Though seventeen years is a lot of life to live, there's one thing they can't deny: their attraction is as intense as ever. But is it just a spark that will burn itself out, or is it true love bringing them back together? When the force they're hunting turns its sights on them, the leap of faith required far exceeds either of their powers. But worrying about their future might be premature because one wrong move and they might not make it out alive.

In Book One of the Butterfly Ops trilogy, Lyndsey and Ian reconnect fifteen years after seeing each other for what each thought was the last time. That the spark is still there is undeniable—but is it enough to get past the secrets and lies that tore them apart the first time around? With old tensions rearing their heads as new challenges arise, what at first seems to be a sure path back to trust and happiness is rockier than it seems.

Note: this is Book One in a serial trilogy. Book Two will be released in Spring 2019; Book Three will be released in early Summer 2019. Books should be read in order.

Excerpt

Taking a deep breath and deciding to face her demons head on, Lyndsey whirled on her heel—and proceeded to walk directly into someone who, thank you very much, had been a little too close for comfort. Coffee and bags went flying everywhere.
Damn it. This was not at all what she needed fifteen minutes before the meeting she didn’t even want to be at. Why hadn’t she just let the cab take her all the way there?
Trying to keep her irritation contained, she accepted the napkins being offered from an outstretched hand.  An outstretched hand presumably connected to the body she had knocked into, a body in such close proximity that a collision had been unavoidable. Big, solid, muscular body, by the way, all done up in Army green, medals and ribbons to boot. Not that that did much to improve her mood, of course.
She purposefully didn’t look up right away, knowing it was an accident and this person had no intention of spilling everything all over her and the sidewalk. Therefore it would do absolutely no good to say something like, ‘Haven’t you ever heard of personal space?’ Not until she could say it with a smile at least.
“I’m so sorry,” she heard the man say in a tone that seemed genuinely apologetic, as it should. “You look like someone I...”
His voice cut off abruptly.
She slowly raised her head, and...
No.
Um... No.
This couldn’t be real. Lyndsey backed away, looking into the eyes of a ghost. A six-foot-and-change, two-hundred pound, solidly-packed-in-all-the-right-places ghost. She stared at him, his face so familiar despite the lines around his eyes and mouth. His hair had a few flecks of gray in that distinguished way men’s hair did, but his arms and chest and shoulders had lost none of their definition in the time that had passed, nor had his body lost its ability to stir something deep within her. Something that hadn’t been stirred in a very long time. And despite her various issues where the Army was concerned, she certainly didn’t mind seeing him in that uniform with all its medals and ribbons. Which also reminded her of all the times seeing him out of his uniform and, well, it wasn’t exactly helping her in the thought-forming parts of the brain.
“But you’re… You’re…” she stammered.
He was dead. He’d died almost ten years ago, as far as Lyndsey knew. Beyond that, she was unable to form a coherent thought.
Well, except that Ian—Ian Fox—seemed to be right there with her, also totally incapable of speech.
“Dad, please tell me you did not make this mess.”
Lyndsey looked past Ian to see the coffee shop girl coming towards him. A girl who called Ian, ‘Dad.’  A girl who was Ian’s daughter.
