I loved how these two came together. Serenity and Apollyon complement each other so nicely, their curious and calmed personalities just click. The attraction is instant and easily set the pages on fire, but at some points I felt that they needed something more, an stronger connection between them.
Dark Angel is the first book in the series, and it sets up the world to an amazing story and a some very interesting characters.
I would have love some more background to the angels and to see something more of the ex, she says she wants revenge and that is what brings Apollyon to Serenity but she seems more hurt that angry at him, her idea of revenge is very juvenile but goes with her sweet personality.
This is short story, perfect for an slow weekend that needs some spicing. This characters fall hard and fast and the intensity of the emotions engages the reader from page one and invites them to grab the rest of the books and inmerse in this amazing world.
