Maya is on her way to meet her future husband, respecting her family's wishes for her to marry the leader of another pride. But first, she needs to say goodbye to her brother so she stops at Underworld for one last goodbye.
August needs some advice. When he took the tittle of Alpha, he knew the duties but that didn't prepare him for it so he goes into Underworld looking for answers and a little time away.
When the two of them meet, everything breaks lose. Maya's insticts get to her and August wants her at first sight.
I loved how strong Maya is. While the youngs and most vulnerable in her family, she proves to be a great warrior and leader. She's willing to go and leave her family and everything she's ever known to keep her people safe, even when everything points to her future husband being a cruel and ruthless tiger. What I also really enjoyes was watching her being the stronger of the pair with August, the difference in their species making the tiger in her need no help. Maya can take care of herself and is not only a great warrior, but a good strategist.
August is willing to summit and accept that, taking her as his equal and providing whatever she needs.
And you get to see Maya's brothers again! Talon makes an appearence, brooding and silent as usual but the reader can see how much he cares for his little sister and jow torn he is over handing her off.
Grey is more present here, and the dynamic between him and Maya had me grinning all the time. We get to read and learn more about him and I can't wait to read his story.
Tamed by a Tiger has the sexy fast paced romance Felicity Heaton has the reader acostum while bringing a bit of girl power to the pages in a world dominated by strong males. It doesn't add to the world they live in but is a great adition to the series non the less.
