A fallen boxer.

A woman with a broken dream.
A competition…

He even makes me forget my name. One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting…

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life.

He’s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I’m drawn to him as I’ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him.

When he’s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it’s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents . . .

But the one he’s most threatening to, now, is me.

I want him. I want him without fear. Without reservations.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

This is one hell of a debut novel. Katy Evans really did an amazing job in Real. It has a strong heroin, an alpha male, lots of sweet moments and even more steamy scenes.

I really enjoyed Real. To be honest, ever since I read the first part of the first chapter I thought, I need THIS! The book is so raw, so emotional it just takes you in and doesn't let you go.

It's been a while since I first read it and I still can get my thoughts straight to put them into words. }

Brooke goes to an underground fight with her best friend and there she meets Remy. Invencible, sexy as hell, Remy. After a shocking first encounter, Remy asks Brooke to join him on his tour as part of his staff. Her Job? Make sure his body is healthy and working. Yeah, I want that job!

I really like Brooke's character. She's strong, she knows what she wants and she tries to keep it proffesional. I could feel everything she was feeling through the book. From the bone deep desire to the confusion over Remy's attitude.

And Remy... he's everything. He's possesive. Wild. And agressive. He's sweet. Caring. Broken. He's all that and more.
He stands by what he believes and for those he loves. But he's silent. His ways of showing all that is through music and actions that no always are easier to see. Communications is not his strongest point bu he does have a lot of those! (please see all his yummy muscle if you need a more graphic description)

"I'm every woman's adventure, damn you, and I don't' want to be yours. I want to be your fucking REAL. You get that?"

Real consumed me from page one. I wanted to know what happened next. I was also frustrated during most of it. I mean Why? Why is he like that? Why is he so hard? and by the time everything came together I was blown out of my mind.
I think what I reallly really liked about the book is what sets it apart from the rest. There's an explanation to Remy's ways that goes beyond the troubled past. And Katy did such a good job portraying it.

Real will make you feel everything, try to knock some sense into the characters, break your heart and put it back up together.
I really can't get enough of Remy and I can't wait for the next book to be out.
