Someone To Love Blog Tour

A fun holiday read that's far more naughty than it ever is nice.

What happens when two people who don’t believe in love happen to fall madly, deeply into the most beautiful relationship they could ever imagine? A train wreck.

Twenty-year old Kendall Jordan devises a seat of the pants plan to “play the player.”

When Kendall spots gorgeous Cruise Elton from across the room, something in her burns to have him. There’s only one problem; Cruise likes the ladies, a lot, and Kendall has never shared so much as a decent kiss with a guy.

Kendall has long since come to discover that love is an illusion that never lasts and Cruise couldn’t agree more. So when Kendall proposes that Cruise tutor her in becoming a female version of himself, Garrison Universities own manwhore, he’s more than happy to comply.

But when real feelings begin to emerge, and neither Kendall nor Cruise know how to classify them, everything they once thought they knew is redefined as they discover in one another, Someone to Love.

Ok let me start with WOW, OMG and I FREAKING LOVE IT.

By the cover you may get the picture that this is New Adult and pretty sexy. With a little bit more of sexy throw in just because Cruise, is to die for. Period.

Now, this book is a must read, you'll love it but we are afraid that Cruise Elton is so not available girls... he just made it to our book boyfriend list and we're not sharing him.

What first got me, was the writing style, and I'm talking about the very first sentence. Addison Moore's writing is lovely. Her description of the scenery is almost poetic, it goes perfectly with the book setting. Let me share the very first two paragraph with you:

It was that season in my life, the coming of age of the woman inside me that longed to know the secrets of the universe—those potent with lust and desire—the very thing that harnessed a sexual frenzy and drove humanity along on its erotic trembling wings.
I’ve always thought of love as a very sharp knife that held the promise of exquisite pain, never one that satisfied, never a theory you could nestle in, warm and safe, forever. Love was dangerous terrain. It was where you met your enemy and gutted them before you sacked their belongings, hitting the road long before the ink dried on the divorce papers—that’s what my mother taught me.

It starts during Christmas Eve and Kendall (A.K.A. Kenny) and Cruise game extends all the way to Valentines... Yup, best holidays for love, Ms. Moore covered them all!

Cruise is the campus playboy. Tall, Blond and Blue Eyed. The guy every girl wants under her tree to tell her she's been naughty this year... (And Santa delivered, my friends)

If I had to describe him in a sentence, I'd say: he's the guy who fell in love just to get his heartbroken by the biggest witch in town, so he decided he was going to get up close and personal with every girl around.

But he's so much more than a playboy, I mean he's got chains hanging from his bedpost and leashes on the kitchen... And still there's more to him. He's caring, and sweet, and in a way he just met his match in views of love.

Kendall is the new girl in town. She saw her mother go down the aisle and to the divorce attorney enough time to realized that love was on the same level than unicorns on the "I believe in it" scale. (Actually she compares it to Santa, but come on! He's real, we all know that!)

The book starts with Kendall at a frat party with no place to stay thanks to Pennington (Her mother's best friend's Son) and she's lucky enough to cross path with one Cruise Elton, who doesn't only offers a place to stay but personal classes on how to become a player.
That's a class at Garrison that any lady would take just because he's teaching it.

But just because they don't believe in Love, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And when things start to turn real they don't know how to deal with it.

The secondary characters really add to the story. From Cruise best friend who lives vicariously through his nightly escapades, to his own girlfriend and Kendall's friend, Lauren. Even Cruise little sister is a character that I enjoyed reading about.

The story catches you from the start. Kendall and Cruise have so many innuendos and half truths in their conversations that at some points you just want them to get over with it. But watching them navigate through a new territory is more than fun.
The Sex scenes are delivered beautifully. They're sensual without getting vulgar, and that is something I really loved about this book too.
Honestly this is an amazing book, and a must read.
