The whole town is ready for the holidays: The Cookie Club is baking, Main Street glitters with lights, the carolers sing . . .There’s even a Christmas wedding.

When bodyguard Ryder Southerland sees his best friend’s sister Katie at an L.A. Christmas party, he mistakes the slinky blonde for a celebrity stalker and tackles her. Then they tackle each other . . . at his place. The next morning, Katie’s gone, and Ryder tells himself it’s for the best. It isn’t. Now, one Christmas later, Ryder’s falling for the woman he’s been missing in the town he hasn’t missed at all . . .

Katie Cheek’s outgrown the romantic fantasies she had about Ryder when she was fifteen. Katie’s packed their hot night away in a box labeled “fling”—or tried to. But Twilight’s bad boy is the best man in her brother’s wedding. And up-close and personal, Ryder’s impossible to ignore. So Katie can either go into hiding—or surrender to Christmas magic.

This book starts with a lovely "The Holidays" feeling. Katie goes from her small town to big L.A. for the holidays. She wants to be someone new for a while, a Katie that belongs in a big city. What she never expected was to find her high school crush at the party. Or that he wound jump her, literally.

Ryder left Twilight, Texas at 18. Tired of being the bad boys the entire town thought, he joined the nilitary and nbever looked back. Now, he's working as a bodyguard in L.A. and mostly happy. But suddenly, his best friend little sister is in front of him, all grown up.

After their hook up. Ryder and Katie go back to their lives but a year later, Joe, Katie's brother and Ryder's best friend is getting married and they are both back to Twilight for the occasion.

It was lovely to see how the two of them reconnected after all that time and one wild night. But Katie is a wonderful, caring character. She helps him and his father get back on their feet and is there for Ryder when his past hunts him.
Ryder is a troubled man. The small town did nothing for him in his youth and he suffered a lot for it but he's pulled through.

A Wedding For Christmas is the perfect book to get you in the holidays spirit and enjoy a hot chocolate.

#TBT Review: Temporarily Yours by Diane Alberts

Temporarily Yours (Shillings Agency #1) by Diane Alberts
Published: February 3rd, 2014
Publisher: Brazen (Entangled Publishing)

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

This marine's the perfect hoax…if she doesn’t fall for him first.

Stats whiz Kayla Moriarity knows her way around numbers and algorithms. Men, on the other hand, are unsolvable equations. Now Kayla’s en route to her sister’s wedding—alone and without the fictional boyfriend she invented for her family. Fortunately, her plane comes complete with complimentary cocktails and a ridiculously hot ex-marine in the seat beside her. And that’s all it takes for Kayla’s inhibitions to go sailing out the airlock...

Cooper Shillings has soft spot for people in trouble, but he certainly wasn’t expecting to land in it himself—and definitely not while getting naughty mid-air with a sexy southern belle. When he hears Kayla’s predicament, however, he offers his services as a stand-in boyfriend. After all, he’s heading overseas soon...and how could he refuse a little no-strings wickedness?

It’s the perfect plan. And all Kayla has to do is ensure her family falls for the ultimate bluff, without falling for it—and Cooper—in the process...

Short. Sexy. And super fun!

If you are anything like me, you went to a family gathering and suffer the inevitable question of "When will you finbd yourself a good man?" from someone... and it sucks! And Kayla is in the same predictment... her family is driving crazy so she makes up a boyfriend. It's a solid plan when lives in another city, but at her sister's wedding is hard to explain why her perfect boyfriend can't be there...

Cooper is running. From his past, his mistakes and his family. But he's the kind of guy who always help those in need, so when he meets a terrified-of.flying certain beauty, he can't help but offer to help her with her fears and her family.

This is a fast paced, steamy romance.
The connection between Kayla and Cooper is there from the start and Diane Alberts pulls you right in. I loved how she managed to keep the tension going through the book. And watch how both characters just let themselves fall into the story although they were somewhat scared.

Temporarily Yours will take you in a fast emotional ride (Brazen's book speciality). Diane Alberts makes a great job in this story and will leave you wanting more of this hot military men trying to find a place in the world.

Trailer

Excerpt

Caleb stands and offers me his hand.

“Dance with me?”

I hate to dance . . . almost as much as I hate to date. But this is, without a doubt, the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me.

“Okay.”

Caleb’s eyes never leave mine as he leads me to the dance floor. Pulling me close, he drifts his hands up my arms and along my shoulders until I’m flush against him. I encircle his waist with my arms as we sway to the music.

Then the most amazing thing happens.

Caleb leans his forehead against mine and starts to sing.

And I melt. Absolutely, positively melt right there in his arms.

Correction. This is the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me.

Caleb’s deep blue eyes burn with emotion as he sings softly to me. I don’t care that we probably look ridiculous and cheesy. I don’t care that the waitress will most likely slash my tires. I don’t care that he’s singing slightly off key. I don’t even care that my best friend is going to scream bloody murder when I tell her about this moment.

I don’t care about any of it, because I’m here.

With him.

It’s exciting.

It’s terrifying.

Suddenly too overwhelmed with everything, I close my eyes.

“Please look at me,” he whispers, and because I’m completely under his spell, I obey.

“Caleb, I . . .” my voice drifts off.

Everything’s just too intense. It’s too much. And I don’t know what to say.

“You feel it, too?”

The insecure girl in me wants to ask what he means, but the woman in me knows. Of course I feel it, and I have no idea how to answer him. I decide to go with the truth.

“I do.”

Cover Reveal: Do it yourself by Nikki Kaye

Sarah began her DIY education by ditching the biggest tool in her garage—her husband. Now she’s realizing that not just her marriage was boring, beige and transitional, and she’s in over her head.

Luckily, Chris the hot young handyman is teaching her how to screw, drill, and hammer—and also how to use her power tools.

Together they’re updating her wiring and unclogging her pipes. But when Sarah worries that she’s treating Chris like her own personal power tool, what will she do? Will she pull the plug?

This sexy 25,000-word novella features adults in adult situations and using adult language.

“You, uh, got a little paint right there.” I pointed, trying not to laugh at the swash of white highlighting his cheekbone.

He looked down at his paint-flecked arms and laughed. “We’re a mess, aren’t we? At least it’s latex-based. It’ll wash off; it’ll just have to be later tonight. I have some dressier clothes in my truck so I can change, at least.”

“You could take a quick shower here, if you want,” I offered before my brain connected with my mouth.

“Really? You wouldn’t mind?”

I waved a hand. “Not at all.” Please, go upstairs and get naked.

He beamed with gratitude, and a few minutes later, he was carrying a gym bag from his truck upstairs.

Suppressing another giggle at hearing his muffled off-key singing, I went into my bedroom and started stripping off my own paint-speckled clothes. I had just stepped out of my tan shorts and peeled off my tank top when I heard the shower turn on.

I froze in shock.

For some reason, Chris had decided to use my bedroom’s en suite bathroom, not the guest bathroom down the hall. I had no idea why, but it meant that he was naked a few feet away from me. My heart pounded in my chest as I padded silently toward the door that wasn’t even fully closed. God only knew what kind of embarrassing things he was seeing in my private sanctuary.

If I were a better person, I would grab my clothes lickety-split and go downstairs to change. But since my epic Pinterest fail, I’d realized I had other priorities.

Such as wanting Hot Handyman Chris to lickety my split.

So I couldn’t resist trying to sneak a peek of him in the shower. The sound of the water hitting the tile drowned out my footsteps and the hitch in my breathing as I peered through the crack of the open door. When I saw that he wasn’t in the shower yet, despite the steam starting to fill the room, I slapped my hand over my open mouth and darted back. Did he see me?

Nikky Kaye is almost my real name. I’m a former Film professor who likes more than her movies to be black and white. Sadly, the world doesn’t work that way. I have worked with movie stars, Ivy League brainiacs, and the United Nations—all of which means that I’m familiar with ass-kissing, power struggles, greed and faking it. In my spare time I parent 5 year-old twin boys, serve on the board of an independent cinema, and run a medical consulting company.
